Dr. Ozgur has contributed to numerous researches publications and articles with focus in the area of spine and neurosurgery. Throughout his medical career, Dr. Ozgur has always been passionate about research, which has led to numerous publications and citations. He has authored more than 27 articles in peer-reviewed publications, several book chapters, delivered more than 100 presentations and co-authored a surgery book. In the book, “Minimally-Invasive Spine Surgery, A Practical Guide to the Anatomy and Techniques,” Dr. Ozgur, and his co-authors who are all experts in the neurologic and orthopedic spine surgery, tackle the 18 most widely accepted minimally-invasive procedures in spine surgery. The beautifully illustrated book provides the most up-to-date material and the broadest perspective on the subject. Procedures range from simple to complex and cover the cervical, thoracic and lumbar regions of the spine.

Competitive Recreation

In his spare time, Dr. Ozgur loves spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys the great outdoors and adventures, frequently participating in fishing excursions and competing in competitive running events, obstacle courses and triathlons.
